Job Opportunity: Civil Engineering Project Manager

Chayah Consulting Group is currently seeking an ambitious and dedicated individual to fill the role of Civil Engineering Project Manager. This position requires a candidate with a Professional Engineer (PE) certification and 6-12 years of experience in the field of civil engineering.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the scope, cost, and schedule of multiple projects and clients. This includes overseeing the work of junior staff and administrative personnel as necessary to ensure the successful completion of projects within budget and on time, meeting or exceeding industry standards.

Required Experience:

Candidates must possess experience in civil engineering, with proficiency in managing and designing projects that include site, grading, drainage, utility, traffic, and street design. 6-8+ years preferred

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Civil 3d, HEC, SWMM, EPANET, or similar civil engineering software is essential for this role. The candidate must be proficient in civil engineering principles including hydrology, hydraulics, and local and state engineering requirements.

Personal Qualities:

The ideal candidate should thrive in a highly team-oriented environment. They must be conscientious, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. The ability to mentor and lead junior staff is a must.
