Our main offfice is in Loveland, CO near I-25 and CO Hwy 34, a mere 45 minutes from Denver International Airport. We also have satellite offices in Sarasota, FL and Kingman, AZ. Most of our work is in Colorado, Florida, and Arizona but we are licensed in many states and also can provide engineering overseas.

The Chayah team focuses most of their efforts on civil and structural engineering; we also provide overall project management consulting to help walk our clients through the entire permitting and construction process.

Our civil engineering services consists of providing comprehensive civil designs for roads, streets, waterlines, sewer lines, over-lot grading, finished grading and drainage systems. We focus on site developments and subdivisions of any size. The civil team coordinates land development, municipal, and site projects through the local, state, and municipal review processes. We have a strong background in drainage and stormwater modeling.

Our structural engineering services consists of providing Construction Documents and Specifications for projects ranging from residential (multifamily, hospitality, custom homes) to commercial and industrial buildings and civil structures such as bridges, box culverts, and waterfront or conveyance structures. We also can review shop drawings and provide calculations for fabricators. We are well versed in tilt-up, structural and misc. steel, cold formed steel, and timberframe materials.

Our consulting services include preparing site and building concepts, completing entitlements/planning, procuring AEC subconsultants and providing support through construction phase. Chayah often will lead as the prime consultant and will manage landscape and building architects, mechanical, civil, plumbing, and electrical engineers, land surveyors, traffic engineers, and other consultants needed for the project. During the construction phase we will assist the contractor and review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, review schedules, and attend weekly meetings.

BackStory

In the fall of 2015 our owner and principal engineer, Cody Geisendorfer, was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of traveling with Engineering Ministries International and a multi-discipline design team of architects, civil engineers, structural engineers, interior designers, and surveyors to put together a master plan for Chayah Children's Home in Uganda. The team came together at their own expense with experts from Canada, Taiwan, US, and Hong Kong. The master plan included children's homes for up to 100 children, a well to serve the community, a church, a school, and areas for agriculture and sports field. Mr. Geisendorfer providing structural engineering concepts and designs and coordinated with the team. This trip had a huge impact, was actually built, and a new name was born.

After a bachelor's degree in civil and environmental engineering, masters degree in structural engineering, licensure and projects in multiple states, and thousands of successful engineering projects; Chayah Consulting Group was started by Cody to provide high quality engineering and consulting to our clients. We focus on buildings, bridges, and infrastructure, site and subdivision development, large commercial and industrial projects, and new construction. Our structural team excels at metal building foundations, high wind zones, custom homes, concrete tilt-up, bridge/waterway structures, steel design and shop review, and timber design.

In 2023, Chayah Consulting Group merged the clients and staff of Shear Engineering Corporation after the passing of its founder, Brian W. Shear, PE. Brian was a brilliant and well known civil/structural engineer who successfully ran Shear Engineering in Fort Collins, CO for 38 years. This merger allowed Chayah to expand its civil and structural engineering capabilities to continue to service Shear and Chayah clients successfully into the future.

We pride ourselves in our team, clients, culture, and the work we do.
