Structural Engineering Designer II/III
Quality Engineering is seeking an ambitious, dedicated individual to serve in a structural engineering designer II role.
Must have EI certification and 3-6 years of structural engineering experience. Ability to obtain PE within 6-12 months preferred, but not required. Experience necessary in building and bridge design including steel, masonry, concrete, and timber structures. Residential design experience a plus but not required. Proficiency with both Autocad and/or Revit structure required. Must be knowledgeable in building and material codes, sample projects desired. Must be able to work in a highly team-oriented environment and be conscientious and detail oriented. Ability to mentor and lead junior staff.

Structural Engineering Student Intern
The Structural Engineering Student Intern will be responsible for assisting in the design of primarily residential, light commercial, industrial, and civil structures under the direction of a Structural Engineering Designer. In addition, candidate may work on structures in mining, energy, healthcare, and other market sectors from time to time. Candidate will be designing with wood, steel (both heavy and light gage), concrete, glass, and masonry utilizing current building and material codes, structural engineering software, and hand calculations. AutoCAD and/or Revit will be utilized daily with this position. Construction inspections and site visits will be completed to verify designs. Some client and partner coordination to complete projects will be involved. Some travel is required on occasion.
